Treadmill is the best cardio machine that assists in losing belly fat. Running is an amazing workout that makes the entire body to work and assist in losing lot of body fat. You can even walk on the treadmill which is a great workout for reducing the pot belly. It is proved that spending at least ten minutes in a treadmill can burn 130 calories; out of which a significant portion is the belly fat. Moreover, treadmill workouts improve ab muscle tone in the waistline area and give you the flat belly.

Lie on your back and then cross your left foot over your right knee with your hands positioned behind your head. Lift your shoulders off the floor and then curl your upper body towards your left knee. Be sure to keep your lower back pressed to the floor. Contract your obliques and upper abs as hard as possible at the top of the movement and then resist on your back down. Do 12-16 reps and then switch to the other side.

If you are worried about the time spent in working out for abs is too much, then your situation is solved. Abs workouts don’t take much time. It is advisable to stick to only two sessions of abs workout a week. For instance, if you haven’t done a single crunch, you need to go slower with your abs workout. If you don’t, you will be tired in the first week itself because of painful sores. Start with only one abs workout a week and eventually increase it for greater results. Now if you are in a good or mediocre shape, then you should only do two abs workouts per week and ensure repetition which lasts for at least 30 minutes where you work on the entire abdominal area.

Leg Lifts. Start off by lying down on the floor with your legs straight out and your hands at your sides. Lift your legs straight at a 90-degree angle without bending your knees then lower your legs back down without them touching the floor. Do this repeatedly.

Nutrition plays a major role in toning your body. One should consume lots of high fibrous foods such as fruits and vegetables for flushing out toxins. High protein and low fats diet is recommended for losing fats. You should also include supplements like whey, casein and creatine in your diet for maintaining the energy levels.

The swimming style is a key factor. Free style is the perfect option if you wish to push yourself hard for a fast swimming. Since you are doing workouts for abs, the breast stroke is very effective for your upper body workout. These two swimming styles are my favorite workout styles. I strongly believe these two styles will give you best results in losing fat.

Everybody has abs but most people have fat covering it, some people have more fat covering it than others. All you have to do is lower your body fat percentage to the single digits and your abs will appear. The way to lower your body fat percentage is to eat fewer calories than your body needs. Its that simple, there is no magic fat burning pill or best workout. Remember, it all comes down to your daily calories so your body fat percentage lowers.

Another interesting way to get to your six packs goal is by using the abs workout bicycling technique. While you lay flat on your back, placing your hands behind your head, start pedaling your legs whilst your shoulder edges are off the ground. You can go on with 10 to 16 reps for faster results.
